After 26 Years with Metrobus: Route 261 passes over to Stagecoach

After 26 Years of service under Metrobus , on the 30th November 2013 saw route 261 pass over to Stagecoach.

Route 261 Has a PVR of 13, But as of 30th November 2013 Route 261 will have a PVR of 11, Route 261 was operated by Metrobus's Yellow and Blue Buses, in 2006, the leased dennis tridents were starting to be withdrawn and replaced by red Scaina Omnidekkas. In April 2013, it was announced that Metrobus has lost the 261 to Stagecoach with 11 New E40D/ Enviro400S.

Route 261 will have 11 New E40D/Enviro400s which have the fleet numbers of 10184 - 10195.
