Big Win for Stagecoach London - Route 498/499 to Stagecoach.

Route 498 Runs between Romford, Queen Hospital - Brentwood with a PVR of 6 & Route 499 Heath Park Estate to Gallows Corner , Tesco with a PVR of 7.To Start the post of , I will start with Route 498, Route 498 contract was last awarded to First London with Enviro200s. and then in the middle of the contract the route was converted to Double Decker Operation.

In 2012 , First London handed the contracts of Route 193,368, 498 and School Routes over to Blue Triangle with their existing vehicles for 193/368 and 3 E400s for Route 498.

Route 498 received a PVR Increase and some older Volvo B7TL/ Gemini2s were transferred over to BE to cover for the increase.

In 2013, It was annouced that Route 67 was won by Arriva London which resulted in Go Ahead selling of the PDNs and sending some of the PVNs to Rainham (BE)

In 2014, It was annouced that Route 54/75 were lost to Stagecoach London which resulted in the buses from Route 54/75 without any more , so it was decided to transfer most of them to Blue Traingle (872- 896) with 897-899 staying at London Central & 870/871 at Docklands. which resulted in Go Ahead selling the PVNs which were based at Rainham (BE) to Ensignbus.

In late 2014, it was announced that Blue Triangle had lost the contract to run Route 498 to Stagecoach London with Brand new ADL Diesel Enviro400MMC and would run out of Romford Garage which resulted in Route 103 moving to Rainham (BE). But due to the delay in new vehicles arrving , Route 498s Contract would start of using 55 plate TAs till New buses were commissioned and entered service.

Now that the 498 has been covered, Next will be the 499.

Route 499 Heath Park Estate to Gallows Corner , Tesco with a PVR of 7 and was operated by: Arriva Kent Thameside from Grays Garage (GY) Using Enviro200s & Wright Cadets.

In late 2014, it was announced that Arriva Kent Thameside had lost the contract to run Route 499 to Stagecoach London with Brand new ADL Diesel Enviro200MMC and would run out of Romford Garage which resulted in Route 103 moving to Rainham (BE). But due to the delay in new vehicles arrving , Route 499s Contract would start of using 11 plate E200s from Route 296 and with the extra E200 on loan from Barking (BK) 36284) till New buses were commissioned and entered service. As a result of Route 499 using Buses from 296, it meant that the 296 was converted to Double Decker operation tempory from displaced Tridents from WH which were replaced by the introduction of Scanias on route 97 dispatched from PD's Route 177 which now got new ADL Volvo B5LH Enviro400MMC Hybrid's.

Route 135 Operator Changeover & New Vehicles.

Route 135 runs between Old Street Station & Crossharbour Via Westferry, Limehouse, Aldgate. On Saturday 23rd May 2015, Route 135 was awarded to Docklands buses with Brand new Volvo Enviro400MMC Hybrids which are EHV1- 16. Due to the delay in delivery, Exisiting vehicles from the GAL fleet were used. WHV1-16 from Route 12 were transferred from Camberwell (Q) to New Cross (NX) for Route 436 to allow 16 Enviro400s to leave to go to Slivertown for 135 which were:

Route 332 Receives new buses.

Route 332 is operated by Metroline and runs between Paddington and Brent Park Superstores Using Double Deckers.

In April , Route 332 received ADL Enviro400MMC Hybrids which resulted in existing E400Hybrids on the route stepping down and transferring over to Holloway Garage (HT).

Changeover: 415 to Abellio

Route 415 Operates between Tulse Hill and Old Kent Road, Tesco and is run out of Walworth Garage (WL) By Abellio London for London Buses. On Saturday 7th March 2015, Route 415 was extended to Old Kent Road, Tesco from Elephant & Castle and has a PVR of 10. Route 415 uses ADL Enviro400MMC Hybrids which are given the fleet numbers of 2514 and 2522 and also uses ADL Demonstrator Diesel .

Newer Buses Introduced on Routes 262/473.

The End has come, The Tridents which have been operating on Routes 262/473 are coming to an end, they are to be replaced by 20-odd Scaina Omncitys displaced from Route 96. The Routes have a together PVR  of 22 (12 for the 262, 10 for the 473) Both Routes Start from Stratford Bus Station run via Plaistow Station and then by the Greengate (Plaistow), and continue to run up to Newham Leisure Centre, where both routes slipts, Route 262 turns left and continues to East Beckton Sainsbury's Via Beckton School, Beckton Station, Gallions Reach Station, Gallions Reach Shopping Park , Beckton Traingle Retail Park then East Beckton Sainsbury's. As of the 473 goes straight down by the Prince Regent Bus Station for Excel London then up to London City Airport then down to North Woolwich. The Newer Buses introduced on this route from Route 96 will allow older Tridents (174** & Some 175**s) to be withdrawn and sold on or even scrapped, The Fleet Numbers for the Newer Buses introduced on Route 262/473 are: 15075 - 15096:

Route 136 Extended from Peckham to Elephant & Castle

 Route 136 is allocated Enviro400s given fleet numbers 10124 to 10128 and Tempoary Euro2 Tridents to cover the PVR increase. New Enviro400s have been ordered to replace the tridents, The Route has a PVR of 19. All the E400s at Catford Garage now have New white blinds so can be used on the 136.

Route 54/ 75 Returns to Stagecoach London

On the 26th April 2014, Route 54 passed back to Stagecoach London which has a PVR of 16 and uses E40H/Enviro400Hybrids, Followed by Route 75 on the 3rd May with E40H/Enviro400Hybrids aswell and has a PVR of 13.  The Olympuses of Route 54/75 will transfer to East London apart from 2 staying in South London.
