A few months later, it was announced that Route 24 would receive "New Bus for London" from the 22nd June 2013.

As of Saturday 22nd June 2013, Route 24 became the first route to be fully operated by the New Bus for London which operates from Hampstead Heath to Pimlico.

Here are some photographs of the New Bus for London Operating the 24 on the first day in service.

Theses buses are similar to the 8 prototypes which currently operate on route 38 (between Victoria and Clapton Pond), but have had a few tweaks to make sure that the buses operate to the highest standard possible. The prototypes on the 38 are now operated just by the driver.
