Route 425 Operation transferred to Tower Transit

Route 425 is one of many new recent routes, Route 425 started life with Go Ahead London in 2008 and has recently been operated by Tower Transit from Saturday 5th June 2013

In 2008 , Route 425 replaced Part of the Route S2 which ran from Stratford to Clapton via Bromley-By-Bow, Old Ford and Homerton. Route 488 replaced the section of the S2 up to Bromley by Bow

Route 488 was ran by First London After the S2 was renumbered, Half way through the Contract in late 2009/Early 2010 Stagecoach took over the 488 and have been operating it from West Ham Garage in East London. rOUTE 425 was created which runs via Mile End and Lauriston Road in return of the loss of the service to Stratford.

Docklands Buses SO2, BV55UCU at Stratford Bus Station Operating the 425. Theses buses are for route 474.

Docklands SO3, BV55UCW at Clapton Pond. This bus is for the 474.

The New E400S were ordered straight away by First London and stored until Tower Transit took over the company on Saturday 22nd June 2013. The Vehicles were delivered with no logos as First announced they were pulling out of London.

First London ordered 10 new Enviro 400s. These are the fleet and registration details:

Go Ahead London SOC2 is on Loan to Metrobus as 979.
